"Rosewood built in 1799, served as Lunenburg's Post Office, General Store, and County Magistrate's office. It also housed a tavern in the basement. Rosewood's colorful past also included a stay by George Washington and Mark Twain was hired by the Rockefellers to detail the Virginia Railroad's arrival in Victoria. In 1991 all of Rosewood was completely restored.
