I love the character of older homes. The history they have and the tidbits of information shared from those who have visited the house in its earlier life. Recently, I watched an older lady walk through the house and as she walked from room to room, she shared her visits in this home - her eyes were bright and happy and then filled with tears as she shared the wonderful times spent with the daughter of the owner/builder. She was a child when she visited and she shared so many stories, days of playing, slumber parties, furniture placement, the smell of food cooking and Christmases with her friend. What a GRAND tribute to the life of this house. Don't YOU want to be part of history? IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK...
