1865 Log home in beautiful Spruce Pine N.C.

Home was built for Professor Charles Hallet Wing, a chemistry professor from Boston Massachusetts, for a retirement home. Wing started the Ledger Goodwill-Free Library' the beginning of the today's bookmobiles. The home was originally built with no inside staircase and no bathroom.
