The main theater is stunning, with its huge towering curved ceiling, hand painted columns, plaster niches, rich red velvet drapes, and original Egyptian Revival architecture. Along the top of the walls are huge moldings that conceal dramatic indirect lighting. The ceilings are slightly domed and decorated with huge custom medallions that look like peacock tails and were specially designed to enhance the sound distribution throughout. The acoustics in the building are amazing. One of the many prominent international musical groups that have annual concerts at the Paramount have stated that the acoustics are even sweeter than Carnegie Hall, where they also perform.

Historic 8,000+ sq. ft. Spanish Revival 2 story stucco building is totally restored inside and out, and in good condition. It stands in the Heart of the Newly Revitalized Downtown Historic District with its beautiful 1920's style Marquee and flashing lights. Rooms include the Main Theater, Stage Area, Balcony, Under Stage Dressing Rooms, Basement, Kitchen, Office, Ticket Booth, Main Entry, Storage rooms, and ADA men’s and women’s restrooms. Also includes 2 fully restored store fronts. Building is ADA compliant, and meets local and state historic regulations.

Two stairways lead up to the Huge Balcony upstairs. It still has the original projection booth where the big film reels rolled, and the openings through the wall that the antique projectors shined through. Most of the rare antique projection equipment has been kept, where it is still closed up in the upstairs where it’s been all these years.

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning your own theater this is a rare opportunity. Casa Grande is located between two large metro areas, Tucson and Phoenix, just a few minutes from US Interstate 10.

The theater has been lovingly and painstakingly restored over the last 21 years, sparing no expense, and is currently open and operating. The historically correct restoration was done by the current owner under the direction of the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office with guidance from National Parks.
The Paramount Theater with its storied past is the favorite spot for plays, concerts, events, weddings, and parties, and is booked months in advance.
