Gorgeous 1800's home inundated with history! Owners have not only meticulously restored the home to its majestic era, but also have modern upgrades, including the kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Relax in the beautifully landscaped backyard with stone patio. Perfect mixture of elegance & function.

Features of this house...

Slate roof, walnut and mahogany exterior, cherry woodwork, original 9 foot cherry pocket doors, hardwood floors, exterior repainted to original 1885 colors within last 2 years, central air, updated kitchen with brand new stove (never used) and refrigerator. Walking distance to schools and downtown shopping. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Excellent house to raise a family and loaded with history. Believe it or not, President Rutherford B. Hayes was good friends with the original owner and attended functions at this house. In addition, there is a "cupboard under the stairs" just like Harry Potter lived in! Previous generations of kids have signed their names in the cupboard which they used to play in.

The city of Delaware, located in Delaware County Ohio, the fastest growing county in the country, is about 15 minutes north of Columbus, Ohio, and less than a two hour drive from both Cleveland to the north and Cincinnati to the south.
