Princess Anne
This slightly smaller version of a Queen Anne Victorian home is located on a corner lot, in a very pleasant, small town. The house was built in 1902 as a summer home for a wealthy Philadelphian family. It has all the features of a Queen Anne, although smaller over all. It has a turret, French doors, wood floors, a wide, covered front porch with columns, and gorgeous extensive mouldings and the signature built-ins such as window seats and a hanging wall cabinet with glass doors. Other notable features in this home are the distinctive CURVED glass windows and casements within the turret on both floors and in dining room, and beautifully cast radiators throughout. The first floor has 9 foot ceilings. The front door has beveled glass panels; the "Florida Room", has a stunning slate floor with insets. The lot is completely landscaped with handsome trees: a Maple, an apple and Chinese Maple. There are also massive displays of perennial flowers.
The house is located in the heart of historic Pemberton Borough.
