This historic home is just 1/2 block from the town square and 1 mile from Laura Ingalls Wilder historic home and museum which draws over 50,000 visitors annually. Built in 1881, it is the oldest (and one of the most preserved) in town and has been a successful 'bed & breakfast.' Beautifully landscaped. It features an amazing stone wall, beautiful wood work and many modern amenities.
The Wilder Museum draws over 50,000 visitors annually. The small town of Mansfield (pop.1400) is undergoing some renovation in order to retain its nostalgic appeal.
