Rumor has it that this was once a bar where locals or visitors could get a drink.

Rumor has it the Yellow Hotel was once a family home and when the Manassas Gap railroad was installed the building became a hotel and people from Washington, DC could ride the train from Union Station to Markham for a visit.

Saying goes this house once was a post office and eventually the post office was moved to the current location
