More About This House

Built for the William Cobb family in the early 1900s, this beautifully restored Queen Anne Victorian gem features wood floors, heavy dentil molding, master craftsman hand carved wood features, original stained glass and more. The wrap around porch has restored Corinthian columns. Each room has original fireplace with mantels. Other unique features are the three sets of working pocket doors and the curved glass. Downstairs you'll find the large master bedroom with renovated master bath showcasing beautiful tumbled marble and granite. Upstairs are additional bedrooms, a family room, cedar closet and third floor attic storage. The grounds are park-like with mature native landscaping including azalea, dogwood, magnolias, hydrangeas, camellias and daylillies. The original gazebo is located at the back of the lot. The current exterior color was selected as it matches the colors when the house was constructed. Located in Tifton's Historic District.
