Entry to the main staircase and door to the library The 8 x16 entry is inviting shows immediately shows the detail of the home. The 11 foot doors are made from Michigan red pine as are many of the frames, moldings, baseboards and railings.
Parlor
The parlor has wide plank red pine flooring, which is common in the home, even under the carpeted areas. Notice the window to the left of the metal fireplace extends to the floor and the bay window in the front of the house. Many of the corners in the home are rounded as you can see near the bay window.
Dining Room
The dining room has a similar floor, fireplace, woodwork, rounded corners and bay window as the parlor. The chandelier has a ceiling medallion and was likely converted from gas to electric many years ago. Absolutely beautiful.
