The Starbuck House
With 8 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms, the phrase "words can not describe" has never been more of an understatement. With over 6000 square feet, this home has been painstakingly restored and furnished over the last ten years and is truly a masterpiece. Most of the woodwork is original to include the double front entry doors, molding, built in cabinetry, staircase and flooring. The kitchen showcases a copper ceiling and custom floor, as well as authentic cabinetry and brick chimney. Three chimneys were actually rebuilt while a new gas fireplace was inserted.
Every room is lit by antique chandeliers, custom draperies hang from every window, and the home is accented sporadically by original mirrors and molding. There is a full attic, complete with a widow's peek and original cedar closet.
The basement has a new concrete floor throughout and is also heated as well as dry. There is a garage under the house as well which leads into the basement, as well as a newly constructed three stall attached garage, heated with radiant heat and complete with its own full bath. Off this garage you will find the luxurious new 18' X 40' in ground heated pool, secured with privacy fencing all around as well as a roof. Surrounded with stamped concrete, the pool area is accented with statues and Victorian molding, as well as a hot tub and plenty of room for sitting, relaxing or entertaining.
A mark in history and a constant treasure, this gem is a resemblance of quality and taste throughout.
