This award winning total restoration of the El Presidio 1880's Jose Lee residence was completed in 2003. It is virtually a new home hidden behind a classic Sonoran Row House facade of 24” double adobe walls with room for further expansion. The interior walls, of diamond plaster with wainscoting and 11' bead board ceilings, render a tranquil backdrop for both antique and contemporary decor alike.
Walk into a large entrance known as a “sagwan” from which lovely rooms fan out. On the left side, soft light envelopes a cozy living room with fireplace, then continue on into a spacious den. On the opposite side, step down into a large master bedroom connecting to a second bedroom (or office) and a new addition which accommodates a bath with a large shower, claw foot bathtub and dressing area with a walk-in closet.
Leading from the sagwan, is a gallery dining room with 8’ French doors opening onto a covered patio, pond and garden.
