Lots of Room & Land for the price of a New York Studio Apartment

The earliest part of this historic Pocono farmhouse was built about 1850 consisting of a large parlor and a summer kitchen on the first floor and two bedrooms on the 2nd floor. An addition at the turn of the 20th century added a large formal dining room, a front parlor and two bedrooms upstairs. The house grew substantially in the 1980's with three additions; 1) an attached one bedroom apartment 2) a family room, kitchen and master suite addition 3) a very large library with a vaulted ceiling, bookshelves with mahogany tops and a built in office.

The main house now has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 half baths, kitchen with breakfast area, family room, formal living room, formal dining room, front parlor, a rear foyer with 1st floor laundry, a big covered front porch and the expansive library and office; it totals 3,850 square feet. The mechanical systems in the house have been updated with central air conditioning, a new high efficiency on demand gas water heater and a new high efficiency gas boiler. The house is well maintained and in very good move in condition.
