About the house updates and features
The house sits on a large lot, with mature plantings and a picket fence providing a sense of privacy to the front of the home.
While many of the original features have been retained the home has been completely renovated and has new electric, plumbing and a new duel fuel(electric/gas) zoned heat/ac system.
Due to these updates the averaged monthly utility cost per month of Electric, natural gas and city water combined, through billing period Jan 2013-Dec 2013 was $168 per month.
New drywall was placed throughout and the home has been completely re-insulated, however all orginal wood trim was retained and replaced.
A half bath upstairs has been extended and refitted as a full bath and the downstairs master is refitted with separate shower, jetted corner tub, duel vessel sinks and tile throughout both baths. Master bath also features orginal tin tile reclaimed from walls used as ceilind along with orginal beadboard ceiling.
All doors are original to house with hardware intact, most doors downstairs featuring transoms.
Replacement windows throughout. Roofs are new - main house:single 5yo, carport, front porch and shed: metal roofs 6 mo.
Original hardwood floors throughout home.
The upstairs bedrooms had rafters extented to allow correct venting and the attic has a thermostat controlled fan.
Orginal glass pendant light fixture in foyer and orginal light fixture over kitchen sink. All other light fixtures and fans are new.
Kitchen has island with electric outlet and sink. Gas stove included in kitchen but kitchen is also wired for an electric stove placement.
